(More customer reviews)ProVision seems to be having big problems with this product. The first I received was defective to the point that I could not even insert the batteries all the way, with no obvious cause of the problem. When I eventually got a response from ProVision, they eventually recommended that I remove the brass rods from the handle, though they didn't bother telling me how in the heck I could do that.
The vendor I bought from offered to exchange the product this first time. When I received the second, the batteries would fit but the light wouldn't light. Now I'm stuck: The company I bought from will not accept a return (though they would accept a return on a product that is NOT defective; go figure), so I'm left trying to get this thing fixed under warranty.
My recommendation would be to choose a different boroscope from a different company. And before you buy anything from ToolTopia or any of these other tool vendors, make sure you understand their return policy: With ToolTopia, they will accept a return on an item they can resell, but defective products are covered under the manufacturer's warranty only. So, in short, if you receive a defective product from ToolTopia, don't expect the company to take it back.
