I ordered this product from National Tool Warehouse and it arrived quickly. I had a problem with the product though, the proprietary valve Mityvac is so proud of, leaked. This tool is supposed to be used to diagnose leaks in your cooling system and such, so me having to chase down a leak on the tool itself is ridiculous. I then contact National Tool Warehouse and they tell me that I can't have a refund on it until they find out whether or not they are going to get their money back from Mityvac. Excuse me? NTW tells me later that Mityvac wants to send me a new valve, which I find unacceptable, once I have trouble with a brand new item from anyone, I pretty much am done with it. So I get this runaround for 2 weeks from NTW and Mityvac saying they don't want to give me my money back. The sad thing is NTW's return policy states that I can return the item for ANY reason within 30 days, well, I don't want it because it is broken and I want my money back, so tell me what difference it should make to me as the consumer whether or not NTW can get their money back from Mityvac? I'm sorry but that's not my problem, that is a cost of doing business, and the reseller must deal with the vendor after the customer has been taken care of. So finally, NTW finally figures out I am not going to go away and takes the steps to get this done. It took me a further 2 weeks to get my refund which just happened on 6/2/08.
Needless to say I would not deal with National Tool Warehouse or Mityvac ever again.
