(More customer reviews)I like the fuse buddy tester.Although it has a severe limitation of a few seconds testing time according to the documentation, it is able to provide data by plugging directly into the fuse slot.Rather than long term testing, an ohm meter may be able to tell you the resistance of a circuit so you can calculate the estimated amperage.The roughly $20 for this tester is worth it, but it would be worth more if it could be used longer-term.There is a fuse socket adapter available as a way to connect a digital multimeter, but not having a multimeter that could measure DC amps, found the cost for an adapter and multimeter was prohibitively expensive.The fuse buddy tester will stay in my toolbox until the funds are available for something better.
